How much does membership cost?
Central Virginia Chapter dues are only $25 for individual membership and $15 for up to four additional membership on a yearly basis. The chapter’s fiscal year runs from July 1st – June 30th.
Who can join?
Membership is open to all West Virginia University alumni, family, and friends. You do not have to be an alumnus of WVU to join!
How do I join?
You have three ways to join or renew your membership with the chapter:

| You can Join/Renew Membership at any event we host, just come up to any chapter officer or membership recruitment chair and fill out the form and make a payment then. |

Why should I join?
Your local alumni chapter is deadicated to supporting WVU and its continued mission toward success while promoting WVU on a local basis The chapter also povides for fellowship with other Mountaineers and allows you an avenue to show your Mountaineer spirit in a way that benefits the community. CVCWVU Alumni Association sponsors social events, help raise scholarship funds, supports Mountaineer sports, assist new graduates, and recruit new students. A strong network of alumni is an essential part of every university.
What do my dues pay for?
Your dues help offset the costs of operating the local chapter. These costs include tax filing, web hosting, recruiting new members, mailings, and other essential administration. Your dues will also help the chapter sponsor events including game-watching parties, social functions, scholarship fundraisers, and community services initiatives. Remember, the chapter is run entirely by volunteers like you. No member receives any payment for work on behalf of the Central Virignia Chapter.
